A working-class British boy with ambitions that run contrary to family and community expectations struggles against the hard realities of life in a mining town. Based on the hit film of the same name, this is the story of a boy who wants to be a ballet dancer, even though his father wants him to box.

“Billy Elliot The Musical” opened on May 11, 2005 at the Victoria Palace in the West End where it is currently on.  A production is also currently running at The Capitol in Sydney, Australia.
