Carrie Fisher’s new solo show, which features Ms Fisher telling a comic and sobering tale about her Tinseltown hangover.  Born to celebrity parents, Ms Fisher lands among the stars when she’s picked to play a princess in a little movie called “Star Wars.” But it isn’t all sweetness and light sabers. As a single mom, she also battles addiction, depression, mental institutions, and that awful hyperspace hairdo.

 “Wishful Drinking” had its World Premiere at the Geffen Playhouse in Nov 2006.  It was later presented at the Berkeley Rep in Feb 2008 and was followed by a four-city tour.
