"The Play What I Wrote" had its world premiere at the Liverpool Playhouse Theatre in the summer of 2001 and transferred to the West End at Wyndham's Theatre in London opening on November 5th that same year and ran until May 4th, 2002 then returning for an encore run at the same theatre opening November 5th, 2002 and running until January 4th 2003.
