A unique union of three one-act musicals about men, women and a little thing called temptation entitled The Diary of Adam and Eve, The Lady or The Tiger? and Passionella.

 “The Apple Tree” originally opened on B’way on Oct 18, 1966 at the Shubert under the auspices of Stuart Ostrow.  Mike Nichols directed a cast which featured Alan Alda, Barbara Harris & Hal Holbrook.  In 2005, City Center Encores! Series presented “The Apple Tree” featuring Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Cerveris & Malcolm Gets.
