The Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Marsha Norman about the complicated relationship between a mother and daughter. The daughter is faced with the perception that her life no longer has significant meaning and informs her mother, with whom she lives, that she has come to a critical moment of decision.

The original production of “‘night, Mother” opened on Mar 31, 1983 at the John Golden. Tom Moore directed  a  cast which featured Kathy Bates & Anne Pitoniak.
