Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern and Managing Director Suzanne Appel have announced initial performers and speakers for Vineyard Theatre’s 40th Anniversary gala on Mon Feb 13. The gala will honor actor Billy Crudup with celebratory toasts to Ken Greiner, Chair, Vineyard Board of Directors and Marcia Pendelton, President and Founder of Walk Tall Girl Productions beginning at 6:00 PM at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th St). Scheduled to appear are Veanne Cox, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Brandon Victor Dixon, Colman Domingo, Victor Garber, Ann Harada, David Harbour, Holly Hunter, Michael R Jackson, Sam Rockwell, Deirdre O'Connell, Tina Satter, Emily Skinner and Paula Vogel.  Musical performances will include selections from the Vineyard's upcoming musical premiere "White Girl in Danger" and a previously unproduced song from "New York, New York." The gala show is directed by Leigh Silverman with musical direction by Dan Lipton.  Performance-only tickets are available for purchase at vineyardtheatre.org/shows/40th-anniversary-gala.
