The Lucille Lortel Awards, the honor presented exclusively to recognize Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway, have confirmed their return to a live in-person celebration on Sun May 1 at 7:00 PM at NYU Skirball (566 LaGuardia Place.)  It was also announced that Deirdre O'Connell will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award and David Henry Hwang will be inducted onto the famed Playwrights’ Sidewalk in front of the Lucille Lortel Theatre. The Lucille Lortel Awards are produced by the Off-Broadway League and Lucille Lortel Theatre, with additional support provided by TDF. The cutoff for the 2021-2022 Season was March 31. The nominations meeting will be held on Wed Apr 6. The nominations will be announced Thurs Apr 7 at 12:00 PM on Playill.com.
