Richard Thomas will Star in Transport's A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE Concert

Transport Group has announced that Richard Thomas will star as Alfie Byrne in its concert of A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, which takes places Mon Dec 5 at 8:00 PM at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W 42nd St.) Additional casting will be announced at a later date. The show features a Book by Terrence McNally and Music & Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty. The musical is the story of an Irish-Catholic bus driver struggling to accept a secret he’s kept hidden his whole life, and finding the power to do so through the words of Oscar Wilde. "A Man of No Importance" premiered at Lincoln Center Theater in 2002 starring Roger Rees, Stephen Pasquale, and Faith Prince.
