Casting Society (CSA) has announced that Amber Ruffin (“The Amber Ruffin Show,” Some Like it Hot) will host the New York ceremony for the 38th Artios Awards, celebrating the contributions of Casting Professionals across theater, film, and television. The in-person gala will be held on Thurs March 9 at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th St). The ceremony will also be produced in Los Angeles, where Yvette Nicole Brown will host the event at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. First held in 1985, the Artios Awards honors Casting Professionals in more than 20 different categories encompassing film, television, theatre and commercials. In addition, special honorees are selected for their contributions to the craft. Nominees and winners are voted on by members of Casting Society.
