The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Artistic Dir; Bevin Ross, Exec Dir) has announced their 2022 Fall Gala, “Embrace The Season: A Drama League Celebration.” The Gala, presented with a spirit of uplifting and amplifying the New York theater community as it returns to a post-pandemic vitality, will be held on Mon Oct 17 at 6:00 PM at City Winery (25 11th Ave). The gala will feature a array of exclusive, sneak peek cast performances from new musicals of the coming Broadway season as well as highlights of recent seasons, in an stage program directed by Sheryl Kaller  with The Broadway Sinfonietta as the event’s House Band. Guests will also enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and unique photo opportunities celebrating the theater community. The Gala event will also include the presentation of the annual Arts Ally Award, given each year to those who strengthen the foundation upon which the arts stand. The 2022 honoree is theater and film production and investment company Caiola Productions, led by Luigi Caiola and Rose Caiola. The Gala is chaired by Mary Jain, with additional major support from BroadwayHD, City National Bank, Kirk Iwanowski & Steven Cohen, and more.
