2022 Theater Hall of Fame Inductees Announced

The Theater Hall of Fame has announced their 2022 Inductees. They are actor Christine Ebersole, director Frank Galati, actor/writer Bill Irwin, sound designer Abe Jacob, playwright Lynn Nottagem, playwright Susan-Lori Parks, actor Mandy Patinkin & playwright Ntozake Shange.   Founded in 1971 at the Gershwin Theatre by James M Nederlander, Earl Blackwell and Gerard Oestreicher, the American Theater Hall of Fame annually honors Lifetime Achievement in the American Theater. To be eligible for the ballot, the theater professional must have 25 years on Broadway and 5 major productions or Lifetime  Achievement in Regional Theater. The 2022 Gala Reception will be presented on Mon Nov 14 at 7:00 PM at the Gershwin. The event is by invitation only. Andre DeShields will be the Master of Ceremonies.
