Transport Group's Sweet Charity: in Concert set for 6/17

Transport Group has announced initial casting for Sweet Charity: in Concert—its musical in this season’s Anne L. Bernstein Concert Series. The concert will feature Lauren Blackman, John Cariani, Matt Castle, Santino Fontana, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Rachel Bay Jones, Julie Klausner, Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Beth Malone, Bonnie Milligan, Paolo Montalban, Anne L. Nathan, Scarlett Strallen, Natalie Toro, Alysha Umphress, Jacob Keith Watson & Kate Wetherhead. The evening will be hosted by Dana Moore and will feature select reconstruction of original choreography by Bob Fosse, sanctioned by The Verdon Fosse Legacy, performed by Caitlin Abraham, Lauren Blackman, Alyssa Epstein, Cajai Fellows Johnson, Julia Harnett, Naomi Kakuk, Emily Grace Kersey, Kenna Morris Garcia, Kaylee Olson & Anna Schnaitter. The performance will place on Mon June 17 at 8:30 PM at the Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center (129 West 67 St.) The concert will be directed by Jack Cummings III with Musical Direction by Joey Chancey and will feature a 23-piece orchestra performing the show’s original Broadway orchestrations.
