Heather Headley to be Honored at the Broadway Dreams Supper

Celebrating 20 years since her Broadway debut in "The Lion King," Heather Headley will be honored by the performing arts education not-for-profit Broadway Dreams during the Broadway Dreams Supper on Tues Dec 12 at The Plaza(58th St and Fifth Ave). The Broadway Dreams Supper will treat guests to cocktails, a formal dinner, and tribute performances by A Great Big World, Jessie Mueller, Denée Benton, Quentin Earl Darrington, Noah J. Ricketts, and appearances by John Doyle & Wayne Cilento,Alexander Dinelaris Susan Fales-Hill. Now in its tenth year, this black tie event raises critical awareness and support for Broadway Dreams and its mission to make world-class performing arts education accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status. Since the organization’s launch in 2006, Broadway Dreams has engaged more than 11,000 students and has awarded over one million dollars in financial need-based scholarships, empowering the next generation of performing artists across North America and in select international markets.
